    This Environmental Awareness course provides learners with a clear understanding of what environmental impact means, how everyday work activities can affect the environment and why environmental protection is a shared responsibility. The course explains legal duties, environmental controls, permit and compliance requirements, and how to respond appropriately to spills, leaks, or releases.

    Designed for hazardous and high-risk environments, this course uses practical examples and real-world scenarios to help learners recognise environmental hazards, apply effective controls and adopt environmentally responsible behaviours at work.

    • Key environmental controls, including containment, spill kits and drainage protection
    • The role of permits, procedures and environmental compliance requirements
    • How to respond effectively to environmental spills, leaks and releases
    • Reporting environmental hazards, near misses and incidents using site processes
    • Environmentally responsible behaviours that help prevent pollution and protect the workplace and wider community

    This Environmental Awareness training course ends with a 10-question multiple choice test with a downloadable certificate.

    User certificates, training programmes and results are all stored centrally in your LMS and can be accessed at any time to reprint certificates, check pass marks and act as proof of a commitment to ongoing legal compliance.
